Audio Source And Phonetic Data Attribution

The Aetheric Communication System, or ACS, is built using openly available phonetic source material to support transparency, flexibility, and responsible use within structured research environments.

One of the most time-consuming parts of developing this system has been the creation, processing, and organization of phonemes and allophones for use inside the application.

This is not a simple task. It requires careful segmentation of audio into precise phonetic units, testing, refinement, and consistency across the dataset.

A Structured Phoneme Dataset

ACS is nearing completion of this phase, with its own structured phoneme dataset built specifically for controlled ITC and EVP experimentation.

The system utilizes phonetic audio derived from the CMU Arctic speech databases, developed by Carnegie Mellon University as part of the FestVox project.

These recordings are processed into short, phoneme-level audio segments to support controlled EVP and ITC experimentation, communication, and analysis. All original source material remains the property of its respective creators.

No Recognition Engine Or Predefined Language Model

At this time, ACS does not rely on external voice recognition, artificial intelligence interpretation, or predefined language models.

Instead, the system is designed around raw phonetic structure.

This allows for experimentation through randomized and controlled audio environments without building the system around complete words, phrases, or canned responses.

User-Uploaded Sound Sources

ACS will also allow users to upload their own sounds, whether generated by the app or recorded externally.

This could be something as simple as environmental audio captured during a walk by a stream, vocal recordings created by the user, or audio already available to the researcher.

Those sounds can then be randomized, reversed, adjusted in speed, and explored through other parameters. The system is intentionally open-ended so different researchers can develop responsible experiments around their own material.

Structured ITC Research Environments

Modern ITC research environments often use structured phonetic datasets and randomized audio sources as part of controlled experimental frameworks.

ACS follows this approach by transforming raw speech data into a structured phoneme library designed to support repeatable, transparent, and accountable experimentation.

The goal is to create a more consistent environment for those who wish to explore instrumental transcommunication, electronic voice phenomena, and possible spirit communication through structured methodology.
