Session Setup

Document container type, water source, lighting, camera angle, surface movement, room conditions, audio sources, and participant positions.

Control Capture

Record neutral baseline footage before prompts or experiments begin so ordinary reflections, ripples, shadows, and compression artifacts can be compared later.

Prompted Experiment

Use consistent prompts, timed silence, and clear verbal markers. Avoid leading interpretation during capture.

Review Standards

Preserve original video and audio, review frame context, note possible natural causes, and separate observation from interpretation.

Research Caution

Water ITC is experimental. Reflections, turbulence, lighting, camera sensors, and expectation bias can create meaningful-looking patterns. Findings should be logged as observations for further review, not proof.
